looks like kuvira finally figures out what makes korra resistant to every training and modification she subject the young avatar into.

While still being defiant, kuvira did succesfully made korra tell the reason for her resilience. That is because of raava, the spirit that resides within korra's body. It turns out that raava is still giving korra-chan the energy and will despite the avatar's inability to enter the avatar state.

Korra is confident that nothing will ever break her connection to raava thus, taunting kuvira that she is just wasting her time on her. Cause she will never bow before the great uniter.

as kuvira and her researchers developed a device that can sap any spirit energy. It's basically one of the applications of kuvira's research on the spirit vines. Enabling her to develop certain methods how to subdue the avatar.


Struggling really hard, korra was helpless as she was forced to wear the device in a form of a collar. Little by little, the collar sapped every bit of energy that basically severed her connection with raava. Thus, making her an ordinary girl while she's wearing it.

Now that every thing is set, kuvira prepares korra for a special brainwashing(the same technique developed by long feng) to finally make the avatar become her loyal slave.
